Citrus League Cross County Championship

Thursday November 12th, 2009

At Chollas Lake

The Citrus League Championship provided some great racing

In the girl's race Kristen Pojunis from Guajome Park Academy easily won and led her team to the team title.

On the boys side, the race was very close through the first half, then Chris Corley a Freshman from Foothills Christian pulled away and finished with a clear win. Cipriano Zuluaga took second and Daniel Smith from Julian was close behind for third. The team title was closely contested but Julian won it for their first Citrus League title in school history.
